Scope:

Climate change is clearly here, with all its features and consequences. Global warming is only one of its manifestations. It is necessary to reduce the amount of waste and emissions, to optimize processes so that they have the smallest possible impact on the environment. In this perspective, it is necessary to collect and analyze environmental data, to make proper decision-making, proactively react to the current situations, to create future forecasts and prognoses, right? The proposed workshop focuses on the whole process of the environmental data processing, handling and management, starting with the data layer to optimize the storage and management perspectives. It points to the databases, architectures and temporal reflections making the storage level operated efficiently. Among that, it is necessary to focus on the data collection, data connections and networks to ensure proper data are obtained in a reliable manner and at the appropriate time. Besides, the proposed workshop will deliver the space for the data analytics itself, statistical data processing, partial results to spread it across academic and research community, but also ordinary people so that the effects and global conditions on the environment are minimized. Finally, we will discuss, how to spread outputs and deliver environmental data analysis to everyone, even to non-technical persons. Concluding, the workshop will be on data processing, collection, artificial intelligence, machine learning and data analytics, forecasts and impact of the cloud environment on the analytics and environmental data processing. It will also deliver and spread outputs of the Erasmus+ project Including Everyone in Green Data Analysis (EverGreen).
