Scope:

Implementing accessibility and inclusion in education must consider each student's skills and competence. Among the diverse educational challenges, there is a need to include people with disabilities and cultural gaps in regular classrooms and provide these people with equal access to learning opportunities. Unfortunately, the learning resources, platforms, pedagogies, and methodologies in current educational settings were not designed well enough to support people with a particular disability or cultural differences. To ensure universal learning, it is necessary to take some actions, including making accessible learning resources available to all students. On the other hand, it is mandatory to ensure the learning environments, resources, and contents meet quality standards under the universal design principles and the expectations of people with or without disabilities.

For inclusive education, the community needs to develop, share and enhance open educational resources, pedagogies, and learning strategies supported by technology in line with accessibility guidelines and contextual expectations.

This workshop focuses on applying ICT to improving inclusive education across different contexts. The workshop aims to assemble educators, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas and discuss the development of subjects around inclusive education, particularly contextual case studies, and real-world applications.
