Welcome to WorldCIST’27 — the 15th World Conference on Information Systems and Technologies — which will be held in the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa, and online, from 23 to 25 March 2027. The conference is jointly organised by the University of Johannesburg and ITMA.
Prospective authors are encouraged to submit papers for evaluation by the Program Committee. All papers will be subjected to a “blind review” by at least two members of the Program Committee, on the basis of relevance, originality, importance and clarity.
Submitted papers should be related with one or more of the main themes proposed for the Conference: A) Information and Knowledge Management; B) Organizational Models and Information Systems; C) Software and Systems Modeling; D) Software Systems, Architectures, Applications and Tools; E) Multimedia Systems and Applications; F) Computer Networks, Mobility and Pervasive Systems; G) Intelligent and Decision Support Systems; H) Big Data Analytics and Applications; I) Human-Computer Interaction; J) Ethics, Computers & Security; K) Health Informatics; L) Information Technologies in Education; M) Information Technologies in Radiocommunications; N) Technologies for Biomedical Applications.
WorldCist also includes several Workshops focused on specific scientific subjects on the scope of the conference.
Full and short papers accepted and registered will be published in Proceedings by Springer, in several volumes of the Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems book series, will be submitted for indexation by Scopus, WoS, DBLP, Google Scholar, among others, and will be available in the SpringerLink Digital Library.
WorldCIST is a CORE-ranked conference, with a Google Scholar H5-Index = 30.
